"It is the sound of Creativity itself. The gong takes us directly into the original sound current, into perpetual sound, out into space. The unlimited sound vibrates and creates light, creates life. The sound of the gong becomes the sound of the Universe" - Harijiwan Singh.

When
played correctly, the gong produces a whole spectrum of harmonics that are based on pressure waves of sound, which vibrate the energy meridians in the body and
bring them into balance.
Kundalini energy, normally stored in the sacrum, is released and travels up the spine, dispersing throughout the entire body.
If there are blockages along the meridians, you may
experience twitching nerves and muscles as the sound of the gong re-calibrates the physical,
emotional, and spiritual bodies and raises the frequency of your
electromagnetic field (aura).
The gong provides immediate stress relief and stress reduction, reducing depression, fatigue, feelings of separation, loneliness, anger, fear and hostility; and many other conditions caused by a lack of balance and harmony in the body and mind.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is the study, science and art of using specific touch techniques on reflex maps, resembling the shape of the human body, that are believed to exist on the feet, hands, and outer ears. It is not the same as experiencing acupressure or a foot massage, although the sensations may be similar. Various theories suggest that blockages or congestion in the autonomic nervous system and along the meridians of the body may be relieved by applying presure to specific points on the feet, hands, and ears. As yet, Western science has not been able to explain exactly how reflexology works, yet in many Asian countries the first person a patient visits when in pain is a reflexologist, then a doctor.
Eastern medicine deals with fourteen major meridians (or energy lines), three of which have energy flowing from the body to the feet, three towards the hands, while three flow from the feet and three from the hands towards the body. However, of the more than 800 acupressure points identified throughout the body, only 28 are located in each foot and hand, with only one acupressure point on the sole of each foot.
Western theory deals with the hindered flow of bio-electrical nerve impulses. Neural scientists generally agree that stress causes irritating chemicals to accumulate around the nerve-endings. As stress and trauma change the flow of bio-electrical energy, different chemicals accumulate around those nerve endings in the reflex points related to the stressed part of the body. Tenderness often found in the feet and hands is an indication of blockage or congestion that has accumulated around the nerve endings. By reflexing these tender areas, we break down these blocks, which in turn increases the free flow of bio-electrical energy through the nerve to the stressed part of the body.
With repeated treatments, the body detoxifies itself, deep-rooted pain can be permanently removed, and long-repressed emotional tension released. When combined with the sound of the gong, the result is a blissful feeling of relaxation and elation, even euphoria, similar to how we feel after a rigorous yoga class, but without the client having to move!
